My favorite thing in the whole world is taking hours out of my day to craft loving birthday cards for my friends and family, just for them to tell me "I look so fat here" or "is my hair really that messy?" or "I prefer that one drawing you made of me in 2019". They always know what to say to make me feel appreciated! All jokes aside, I feel like being the assigned birthday card person, and also often taking commissions, helped me get confident with drawing stylized versions of real life people in a way that still captures their likeness.
